I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I obtained my B.A. in Psychology at California State University Northridge and went on to work in a corporate setting for several years. Before long I knew I wanted to return to my true passion of helping others overcome emotional challenges in their lives. To be able to do this, I went on to earn my M.A. in Psychology (with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy) at Phillips Graduate University in Chatsworth, CA.
Since then, I have worked with many individuals who suffered from depression, anxiety, grief and loss, phase of life challenges, and PTSD. My experience also includes working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and childhood emotional and/or physical abuse.
The strength of relationships is very inspiring and I have had the pleasure of working with couples who wish to work on issues of communication, dishonesty, infidelity, major life changes (like adding children), and phase of life challenges. I have also worked with couples who wish to get along after a separation for purposes of co-parenting.
I am a therapist who believes in the strength and resiliency of all individuals.
